On Tuesday April 11th at 15:00 hours, Bedford Hills Volunteers were alerted to the area of Bedford Center Road/Succabone Road for a motor vehicle accident with a downed utility pole. Minutes after dispatch crews arrived on scene and located one vehicle with heavy front end damage. Members quickly secured the vehicle and contacted NYSEG for the damaged utility pole while EMS provided patient care. BHFD turned the scene over to Bedford Police, opening the roadway at 15:45 hours.
