On Monday January 14th Bedford Hills Volunteers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Bedford Road in the area of Shady Brook Lane. Rescue 10 was first arriving to the scene and located a two vehicle accident with a vehicle off the roadway into a tree, all occupants were deemed out of the vehicle. Crews had to cut the tree back to access the patient and controlled traffic until the vehicles were removed from the roadway. The scene was turned over to Bedford Police and Firefighters cleared the scene at 17:07 hours.
