FASTeam goes Mutual Aid to Somers Fire

Shortly after 10:00 hrs on Wednesday January 27th, Bedford Hills FASTeam was requested by Battalion 13 to a working fire in Somers. Bedford Hills was requested as the 3rd FASTeam in as Yorktown's and Mohegan's FAS Teams were put to work by Somers Command. Tower Ladder 57 responded as the FASTeam and upon arrival staged on the front lawn per Somers Command. Under the direction of Capt. Graniero and Lt. Bancroft, the team split in two and did a quick 360 of the fire building. Multiple members from Somers, Mohegan, Yorktown, Croton Falls, Mahopac and Mahopac Falls were operating at the scene and had mounted an aggressive interior attack, which saved the structure from any serious damage. Bedford Hills FASTeam was released @ 11:38hrs by Somers Command.
