Evening Motor Vehicle Fire shuts down Route 172

On Tuesday March 31st, BHFD was dispatched to the area of South Bedford Road and Darlington Road for a motor vehicle fire. Upon arrival a single vehicle was found to be well involved in the roadway. The crew of Engine 198 utilized one 1 3/4" handline to extinguish the fire, Tanker 5 assisted with a 3 Inch supply line and Rescue 10 assisted with spill mitigation. BHFD remained on scene for the vehicle to be removed from the roadway by tow.
