Shortly after 1:00pm on Sunday July 21st, Bedford Hills FAST was requested to 37 Carlton Drive in Mt. Kisco for a Working Structure Fire. Upon the arrival of Rescue 10, the crew preformed their size-up and monitored fire conditions. Due to the rapidly deteriorating fire conditions a 2nd Alarm was transmitted and BHFD FAS split the crew and some members were put to work - immediately assigned to the interior operations to assist with Fire Attack. Command transmitted the Third Alarm for additional personnel to assist.

Operating Members were met with a deep seated basement fire, ultimately opening up holes into the first floor to relieve the crews below of smoke and heat. BHFD remained on scene to assist with ventilation and overhaul – until released by Command around 1700hrs.

While operating in Mount Kisco, Engine 199 handled an additional alarm in district, a motor vehicle accident on Main Street.
