With the delivery of the new Tower Ladder, a 2020 Seagrave Marauder II / 95 Foot Aerialscope in the coming months, our current Tower Ladder, a 2000 Seagrave/Aerialscope was retired from service and deemed surplus. Tower Ladder 57 has proudly served the residents of the Bedford Hills Fire District and beyond for 20 faithful years. At 09:00 on Saturday January 25th, Hook and Ladder Captain Sean Rooney officially placed Tower Ladder 57, Out of Service.

Tower Ladder 57 was sold to the Port Norris Fire Company in Cumberland County, New Jersey. We wish them many years of happiness with her!

Tower Ladder 57 was purchased in 1999 and was our Departments first ever Tower Ladder. It replaced a 1968 FWD/Young 85 Foot Snorkel.

Tower Ladder 57 has responded to over 3,000 incidents while in service ranging from Alarms, Rescues, Structure Fires and Mutual Aid requests. 57 served in the Borough of the Bronx stationed at Engine 68/Ladder 49 following the September 11, 2001 Terrorist attacks on New York City. In addition to being relocated to the Bronx, Tower Ladder 57 has responded to Fires and Incidents in nearly 30 Westchester County communities, as well as Fairfield County, CT and Putnam County, NY.
