The "Unofficial" Kick Off to Summer - Katonah 150th Anniversary Parade

On Wednesday, June 5th - over 40 Bedford Hills members took to the streets of Katonah, for the unofficial kick-off to the summer, the Katonah Parade. This is usually one of the first parades of the season in Northern Westchester and a great time for the community to see the pride members of the local department put into their equipment.
We would like to thank our band, The Tappen Zee Bridgemen who has been leading our Department since 2008.
At the conclusion of the evening, Bedford Hills went home with 2nd Best Regulation Uniform, Best Aerial. We want to congratulate Chief Whalen and all of the members of the Katonah Fire Department on their 150th Anniversary and for another great parade and community event. See you next year!!!
BHFD will also be taking to the streets of Yorktown, Mamaroneck, Mt. Kisco, and South Salem this parade season, hope to see you there!!!
